Location: Dorval Day Center / Full TIME

• Plan and lead several group activities per week at the Day Center and our residential resources;
• Develop recreational and cultural projects in partnership with the community
• Offer psychosocial follow-up and support;
• Collaborate with health professionals, families and other resources as needed;
• Support participants in skills training and social reintegration in a work program;
• Accompany participants to outings and activities using the organization’s van;
• Intervene in the event of a crisis;
• All other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

·     Bachelor in Specialized Education, Social Work or Psychology·     Certificate in leisure therapy (an asset)·     1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position·     Experience or knowledge with adults living with a diagnostic in mental health ·     Great autonomy and initiative·     Empathy and listening skills·     Good sense of communication·     Understanding and appreciation of the community model of mental health services·     Knowledge of IT tools·     French and English spoken and written·     Driver’s license required

CONDITIONS:

• Schedule Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 4 pm
• Salary: Up to $ 22,30
